Christian Schools Sports Association

The Christian Schools Sports Association consists of schools within the National Union of Parent Controlled Christian Schools (CPCS), Christian Schools Australia (CSA) and other independent Christian Schools. It is an association which has been formed to foster Christian thought and practice through sporting events within and between Christian Schools.

The Association is responsible for delegating the responsibility of organising major State Carnivals and Gala Days such as Swimming, Athletics, Cross Country and Gymnastics for Primary and Secondary Schools. Member schools are free to organise other interschool sports days against other member schools or schools outside the Association as they see fit.

These carnivals are an integal part of each school's Physical Education Programme and for this reason it is important that the carnival be run along the lines of the official rules of the event.
