What is the Course About?

This course will examine approaches to the options within the HSC 2 Unit PDHPE course. This will include programming, resources and teaching and learning strategies. A standards referenced approach  to assessment will be analysed in relation to the options.

 
How Will the Course Be Presented?  

The course will be presented using sessions aligned to the options sections of the HSC 2 Unit PDHPE syllabus.

Outcomes of the Course:

As a result of participating in this course it is expected that teachers will gain:

  • an increased ability to evaluate approaches to designing teaching and learning strategies and quality assessment tasks;
  • knowledge about how to apply course methodology and key competencies to the 2 Unit PDHPE HSC options;
  • skills in using and designing teaching resources for the 2 Unit PDHPE HSC options;
  • knowledge about key concepts and knowledge integral to the 2 Unit PDHPE options.

Certification: Certificates will be made available to all participants who fulfil the course requirements.
