Course Administration

How to Enrol Online

All AIS Professional Development courses are listed here in PD Courses.

For details of any course just click on the course title in which you are interested and you will find detailed information on what the course is about, how it will be presented, as well as expected course outcomes and course presenters.

Course Costs

The AIS provides support for the professional development of teachers working within AIS member schools on a cost recovery basis. However, colleagues from the broader education community are welcome to attend the courses at the full cost recovery rate. Teachers from AIS member schools receive a discounted rate.

The registration cost for each course has been calculated to include all administrative expenses, photocopying of course materials, course advertising, publication of the Course Calendar, certificates of attendance, venue and catering. An additional cost may be incurred where guest speakers are used or additional materials required.

Processing Fees

Please note that after the closing date it will not be possible to refund your course fee. Cancellations need to be received in writing to enable a refund. However, a substitute delegate is always very welcome at no extra charge. In the event of a course being cancelled or withdrawn, a transfer or refund will be arranged.

Please note that registration costs will be invoiced to the school if a faxed registration has been received, even if the applicant does not attend the course.

The AIS reserves the right to alter any of the arrangements for courses as stated in this program, either before or during the course and to cancel or terminate a course.

Certification of Courses

Certificates of attendance are provided to all participants attending courses of at least four hours duration, assuming that all course requirements are met.

If you require more information on course registration, please email Cecilia Waites.
